#122023 Corporate airlines

Posted by Boeing Fan on 04 August 2012 - 01:23 AM in Suggestions and Feature Requests

So I was thinking maybe we could have a different section for corporate aviation like Netjets. It could be a separate class so when you research a route it would show Corporate (B), First (F), Business ©, Economy (Y). When you would order a plane you can set the configuration to be Corporate but you would have to have the entire plane devoted to it.

#122020 Tips for New Players

Posted by Boeing Fan on 04 August 2012 - 12:24 AM in New Players and Questions

I recommend Boeing because the 737 family runs for almost the entire game length and has lots of aircraft to choose from. The 767 or 747 family are good long range family's that once they start you can use them for the rest of the game.

#122018 High quality alliance help

Posted by Boeing Fan on 04 August 2012 - 12:17 AM in New Players and Questions

I am aiming for a airline that offers great service for a reasonable price so I thought that those kinds of alliances would be the same. On the note of Alaska. I have closed my hub in STL and have shortened my terminal so that I am barely doing any flights out of there. Just like Alaska Airlines I have an all boeing fleet, I have just expanded the route network and fleet size to reflect my hopes of what I hope Alaska Airlines will eventually become.

#121998 High quality alliance help

Posted by Boeing Fan on 03 August 2012 - 09:29 PM in New Players and Questions

Hi,
I run what I believe is nice airline and have applied to two high quality alliances and have been declined both times. I fly an all Boeing fleet, my planes are not packed to the rim with seats, I have what I consider a nice IFS configuration, have straight 5 star IFE configurations. What I am wondering is what kind of airline are you looking for when I apply. For the people from aaaliance I closed my hub in STL and now have hubs in PDX, SEA, and LAX, which is exactly where the real Alaska Airlines hubs are. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

didn't germany make EK have to have fares higher than those of LH and they could only fly to 4 german ports? govs protecting airlines aren't out of the ordinary

Another example of an airline that is supported by its government look at Air France.

Can an airline in the US have a hub or terminal anywhere outside of the US?

#121726 Lounge Idea

How about it being like a board room. You can either charge people to have access to it or you can have it included in the ticket. Although for the size of the board room you could have it be like gates were there are a certain amount and you have to build your own once they are all taken.

#121461 Boeing 727 or Boeing 737-200

Posted by Boeing Fan on 29 July 2012 - 05:28 PM in General AE Discussion

In the US I find that the 727 is great for most routes. It is faster, can hold more passengers and has a larger range than the 737-200.

Boeing Planes are usually made better.

I agree with that but sometimes it is still better to go with airbus.
