NT Airways medium haul aircraft

In the 1980s NT Airways received two medium haul aircraft from opposite sides of the globe. Starting with the Boeing 737-300 in 1985, the airline was looking to order the extended fuselage 737-400, but by the end of the decade was showing interest in the up and coming Airbus A320. The airline would go on to order the rare A320-100, receiving a few examples from 1989, before converting the order to the -200, and later placing an additional order for the extended fuselage A321
