2015 - Airbus A330-200

2015 - Airbus A330-200

The A330-200 was the lowest capacity widebody in Valiant's fleet before the Westwind acquisition. Before the merger, the type mostly handled Valiant's long undervalued Pacific services like DTW-PEK or DTW-OGG. The type is actively being replaced with the A330-800 and as such only a small number of the type remain. As of April 2022, less than 10 of the trusty airframes remain in regular service. Due to their imminent extinction, when Valiant overhauled its seating configuration, The 332s and a small number of 333 did not receive updated cabins. Thus, they only offer seats sold as economy and first class. It seems likely that for the remainder of their service, the aircraft will serve as proverbial pinch hitters taking up slack on non-primary, longer distance routes like MCO-MVD or IAD-JNB via LOS. Saltie Dignified is slated to be last 332 that will ever fly for Valiant.
