[OLD] airVeruda A319neo | I-AFG

[THIS LORE IS OLD. THE AIRLINE'S LORE HAS SINCE BEEN REWRITTEN AND YOU CAN JUST SKIP OVER THIS.]

It's 2020.

airVeruda's newest livery, the 2018 livery, has just been painted onto the final A220 that was delivered earlier last year, I-AFH. Many A319s remain in the old 2003 Mint livery, as the airline is not ready to give up its iconic mint leaves on the fuselages of their aircraft.

This A319neo, I-AFG, is the second A319neo to be delivered to airVeruda. It has just arrived at Zadar International freshly painted in the iconic 2003 Mint livery. It will join the airline's first A319-100, I-AFY, which is now 23 years old. It will mainly service Knock Intl Airport, in Ireland, from Zadar, occasionally operating from Zadar to Paros in Greece.

The aircraft is new as of 2020, as the A319neo has only been available for a year prior to I-AFG's delivery. airVeruda is among the first customers of the A319neo. in total, 11 A319neos will enter service for the mint airline, replacing 11 of the airline's 27 A319-100s and A318-100s. This one, I-AFG, continues service until 2029 when it suffers a dual bird strike operating airVeruda flight 7458 and has to land in the Mediterranean near Zadar. Nobody is killed or injured, though the aircraft is not found until early 2030. airVeruda doesn't order any more A319neos than 11 due to the A220 having many similarities to the A319, which renders this crash a disappointment to the company, but not anything huge. Upon recovery of the aircraft, it gets partially restored and sold to Zadar International airport which puts it in a museum. In November of 2030, the aircraft was lost to a bombing of the museum it was in for the last 6 months of its life. By early 2031 there were only 23 parts of I-AFG recovered from the site, sent out to museums and pilots and crew of airVeruda flight 7458.

holy crap that lore was crazy!!! the plane looks good though. (you should do the A220 next)
