African 787 9 Special

African Airways has unveiled the first of five special liveries to detail the diverse and beautiful landscape of the African continent. From the well known Savannah to the raging waters of the Congo river, there are countless breathtaking venues. These liveries are made to promote tourism to the continent and raise awareness for the creatures that live there. This aircraft is dedicated to the critically endangered white rhino and the threatened African elephant, who are being poached relentlessly for their ivory tusks and horns. As the aircraft is displayed here, it shows the side with the elephants. the right side of the aircraft depicts the same scene with rhinos in place of the elephants. it is important to do everything you can to encourage conservation and to help these species be able to eventually bounce back.
