767-300 | C-FDIC

The 767 opened up a lot of new destinations for Canadian, and allowed for international flights from cities in Canada that haven't had them before. Most notable examples include limited service from Calgary and Ottawa to London Heathrow. The 767-300ER was also used on high density transcontinental routes such as Toronto to Vancouver and Toronto to Los Angeles, and became the airline's first twin-engined aircraft to fly across the Pacific on the inagural flight from Vancouver to Hong Kong. The 767-300ER fleet reached 27 airframes at its prime and all were retired from the fleet as of 2018, to be most likely replaced by the A330-800NEO on some routes, as the airline hopes to achieve an all Airbus longhaul fleet by 2030.
