Boeing 747-400

Boeing 747-400

InterFrance started operating the 747-400 in 1990, and it quickly became the long haul of choice for the airline, replacing the earlier 747s and A300 aircraft on trans-Atlantic service. These were equipped in a three class layout, and eventually were supplemented by A340 andA380 aircraft as well, giving InterFrance a robust long haul, high density fleet. The 747-400 is being phased out in 2024 along with the A380, leaving 747-8i and A350 aircraft as the new backbone for long haul operations.

This aircraft was specially painted in "Farewell Concorde" colours, celebrating the supersonic airliner's career and retirement in 2009.

And this is cute. Hopefully there'll be a Concorde 2.0 in the future.
