Boeing 767-300ER | 1997

Airline - Global Airlines
Aircraft - Boeing 767-300ER | N948GL
Delivered to Global Airlines, 1991
Sold to MoscAvia, 2011
Livery - Standard 1994
Country - United States of America

After the delivery of the first 777-200ER featuring new cabin products, the rest of the widebody fleet began to be reconfigured. On the 767 fleet, this presented some difficulties due to the significantly narrower fuselage. First Class had to be reduced to a 1-1-1 configuration (the first time in history such a layout was used on any aircraft), while Business was installed in a 2-1-2 configuration, like the old version of First used to be laid out on the 767s. Coach remained in a 2-3-2 setup. Entertainment systems and seat functions (e.g. recline) was the same on retrofitted 767s as on newly-delivered 777s.

Because of the multitude of routes the 767s were used for, a variety of different configurations were required. Some, used exclusively for domestic and Caribbean flights, were left in their old configurations with simple recliner seats in First and Business. Others - deployed mostly on long-haul, transoceanic and South American routes - were configured with three rows of First (for a total of nine seats), 36 Business seats, and 163 Coach, for a total capacity of 210. This included N948GL, shown above repainted into the 1994 livery. Others, used for flights into more leisure-centered markets like Spain and flight to Hawaii, were configured with only six First Class seats, fewer than 36 in Business, and a greater Coach capacity.

This is nice, how do you make these seat maps?

Thanks. I use photoshop and I have a template for each aircraft (that I created a while ago) and I place seats, galleys, and lavs into the fuselage.
