The first aircraft that Royal Dhahrani Airways began operations with in 1976 were four Trident 2Es and three Trident 3Bs, all purchased from the newly-formed Royal Airways. While relatively rugged, the Tridents - especially the heavier 3Bs - struggled in the hot Middle Eastern conditions, only able to take off in some places due to the widespread use of very long runways in the area. These aircraft operated from Ras Al Qua to cities such as Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Baghdad, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Tehran, etcetera.

Disclaimer: This project is designed to look at the progression of aviation in a more-or-less generic fictional Middle Eastern state. Any similarities to real people, locations, or situations may be intentional. I have zero knowledge of Arabic, so while I have spent considerable time trying to get it right, mistakes are possible, and any advice is greatly appreciated.

Man, you really went out of your way to make this all work! You made 2 maps, a template, a flag, a brand, and even a coat of arms! Now that's innovative! :D
