In 1997, Oceanic Airlines introduced the United States' first completely Lie-Flat seat on the 777-200ER. Global First, as Oceanic called it, was a game-changing seat design that revolutionized premium cabin long-haul travel.
The 777-200ER also featured a new iteration of World Business, and was the first Oceanic aircraft to feature Personal Television Entertainment in every class of service.
