I hope you're all safe and well. 

I have a question about the number of weekly passengers and the numebr of seats on a particular route. 

If say there are 875 weekly passengers, how is it possible some airlines are flooding the route with 9000+ seats per week and still able to charge over 2000 per seat in economy? It appears to me that if I put too many seats on a route I have to lower the price in order to try and fill the seats as I have seen other airlines doing. However I've seen one particular airline that is able to keep prices in the 2000 range for many routes and flood the market at the same time? I'm not sure how this works.

Any help/advice appreciated!
