I run mostly hub-to-spoke, but with a lot of hubs - like 50~55 hubs in USA, 10~15 hubs in UK, etc. So it really becomes somewhere in between because there are 2,500+ hub-to-hub routes alone, with about same number of hub-to-spoke routes.

CASM wise, a 738 burns less fuel than 734 (if both have "right" engine).

It might be demand drop - it also might be that 738 has less-than-ideal engine.

A319LR is slightly more fuel-efficient too. (Probably not enough to offset the price difference though)

777-300 non-ERs used to have range of around 5,500 miles before update and it looks like the data got mixed up with 777-300ERs during update.

If you run an airline in the US you would end up running 80+ A380s, 150+ 747s, 400+ 777s, 400+ A340s and still craving for more long haul aircraft.
