Unable to declare bankruptcy

30 April 2010 - 04:20 PM

United America [U2] needs to declare bankruptcy -- I for some reason some of my flights wont even cancel - and the I get an error page while returning gates.

Is there anyway to force the bankruptcy without dismantling the airline?

Just to forewarn ahead of time ... looks like time jumped again - from June 24 to July 1 ... I magically lost 32 mil from the change.

United America launches Western Expansion

10 February 2010 - 12:41 AM

[SIGPIC]
Los Angeles, CA -- After weeks of careful growth and planning, United America (IATA: U2) launches Western Expansion from our hubs in Denver (DEN) and Los Angeles (LAX). Now serving 28 cities, on 68 different and distinct routes; our company launches an additional 40 cities by the end of year 5.

"Our current cash position allows us to adjust to changing market conditions" CEO Matt Schneider announced. "Our all Boeing fleet enables us to be efficient while utilizing a same-type cost structure." United America announced an order for 45 new aircraft, including 40 Boeing 737-700ERs and 737-900ERs. Already complimenting a fleet of existing 737s, the company also operates 747, 767 and 777's across its domestic and international fleets.

With this western expansion, United America also recently built 15 new gates in LAX International with over 750 available slots for their operation. "LAX will continue to be a major growth point for the company, we are currently exploring additional focus cities, much like our operations in Minneapolis and Seattle" Schneider stated.

"Within the end of the next two years, United America will be a major player on the west coast. We look forward to the challenges and continue our high quality 3-class service to markets currently under served."
