Aircraft not available to assign flight to despite being fully available.

1.  Is the aircraft used from another airport pair than the ones you are trying to? For example Airport A to B, but you would like to use it from C to D? 
2. Have you checked that the aircraft meet the runway requirements? 
3. Do the aircraft have the range of the flight you would like to use it on? 
4. Are you violating any Political restrictions?

Although this issue is sorted for that aircraft, it keeps cropping up with random aircraft so here goes:

1) No, this is about aircraft who are currently not operating any routes.

2) Yes, the aircraft meet the runway requirements.

3) Yes, they have the range of flight that I'm trying to use it on.

4) I don't believe this world has any political restrictions, but in any case it shouldn't amount to a violation regardless.

Even if the average range displayed for your aircraft type is long enough, is the range of your selected engine for the aircraft long enough?

And what exact route are you trying to open with the aircraft?
