Opened up routes but nothing appeared on my map R4

Just opened up two routes but when I checked my map there was nothing

I found the quick fix to this issue. Once you are in your airline world, click on settings in the top right corner. On the list of settings, find where it says "Map Options" then click on the drop down box and click on "Google Maps" and save it. Then you should be all set and good to go!
