Route Creation map display

Posted by jonmok on 07 February 2011 - 04:11 AM

When I starts a route PVG to HND (Shanghai to tokyo), instead of showing the map of PVG to HND, i've got the map of somewhere VA to NV, USA

Updating severity to: 1 - Low

I got that as well while creating routes in Russia, but for me I get what looks like Moscow to London.

Same problem for AGP-LIS route. Distance is right and calculation seems correct, but on the map, it shows a route somewhere between AGP and South Africa.

Cheers,

Yep, got the same problem setting up Buenos Aires- Cordoba. It shows Buenos Aires- Dallas? on the map. Really confused me.

Casablanca CMN, Marrakesh RAK and Faro FAO are also "dislocated" in the Route Creation map display.

Cheers,

rgss

WAW also.

This is due to the way we're generating the map. We'll fix it later (what airports are affected doesn't matter), and it doesn't affect operations at all.

There's no need for more bug reports about airports being mapped incorrectly.

OKA(Okinawa) -> Oakland

PVG(Shanghai pu dong) -> east of USA, Norfolk

SYD(Sydney) -> no location

HND(Tokyo haneda) -> LasVegas

CAN(Guangjou) -> east of usa, Saintstephen, Meddybemps Lake

these airports also.

TPE(Taiwan taoyuan) setting as west side of Ethiopia,,

Is this fixed or not? I know Yuxi said not to post more stuff, but if its "fixed" then it's not. I made Buenos Aires- Montevideo, and it shows Buenos Aires- San Antonio.

Not yet. I said there's no need to post more because the fix is a systemic issue and will have nothing to do with the airports themselves.
