Updating Brasil

Posted by ArthurB on 09 May 2012 - 01:05 PM

Here's the data of my country:

Brasil:

Tancredo Neves International Airport/ Belo Horizonte - CNF/SBCF (my city):

PAX: 9.534.986 (2011)

Postions: 15 (9 Gates and 6 remote positions. Also, 3 cargo ramps and some (more than 5) GA positions. At least in this year, the 2nd terminal works will begin :) )

State: Minas Gerais

Pampulha - Carlos Drummond de Andrade/ Belo Horizonte - PLU/SBBH

PAX: 757.685 (2010)

Positions: 75 (Almost all GA positions, some of them are part of hangars, there're no fingers and some military positions. Also, the airport is prohibited to receive aircrafts with more than 50 seats until 2004. But, in Infraero website they told there's 8 positions; I think this one is more realistic)

State: Minas Gerais

Dois de Julho International Airport/ Salvador - SSA/SBSV

PAX: 8.310.651

Positions: 24

State: Bahia

Tom Jobim International Airport/ Rio de Janeiro - GIG/SBGL

PAX: 14.926.615

Positions: 53 (23 with finger and the others are remote)

State: Rio de Janeiro

Juscelino Kubitscheck International Airport/ Brasília - BSB/SBBR

PAX: 15.398.737

Positions: 40 (13 fingers)

State: Distrito Federal

Viracopos International Airport/ Campinas - VCP/SBCP

PAX: 7.542.239

Positions: 20

State: São Paulo

André Franco Montoro International Airport/ São Paulo - GRU/SBGR

PAX: 29.995.450

Positions: 61

State: São Paulo

Salgado Filho International Airport/ Porto Alegre - POA/SBPA

PAX: 7.036.074

Positions: 16

State: Rio Grande do Sul

Also today I'll post more airports.

Can you provide a source?

http://cnfaovivo.blogspot.com.br/ - Non-Governamental site about CNF. It was the first thing of blog like that and you can trust it, because is almost professional.

infraero.gov.br - Responsible of almost-all brasilian airports. I used it to get information about aircraft positions and confirm the PAX number.

wikipedia.org - used to get info about PAX number and aircraft positions.

Uberlândia International Airport- UDI/SBUL

PAX: 907.169 (2011)

Positions: 10

State: Minas Gerais

Itamar Franco Airport/ Juiz de Fora - IZA/SBZM

PAX: Not Avail*

State: Minas Gerais

* The Airport opened in 2007, but don't received any flights for years. Last year, the first commercial flight arrived at the airport (a ATR 72-200).

It was crated to substitute Francisco Álvares de Assis International Airport (IZA will be international in the end of 2012) and to serve to a largest region (Zona da Mata)

Hercílio Luz International Airport/ Florianópolis - FLN/SBFL

PAX: 3.121.936

Positions: 13 (9 heavy, no one have fingers)

Afonso Pena International Airpor/ Curitiba - CWB/SBCT

PAX: 6.964.581

Positions: 15 (10 with finger)

State: Paraná

I'm afraid a blog and wikipedia are not sufficient sources.

The airport operator or government site is fine though.

I will also need you to link each airport to its source, so that I can see precisely where all the data is coming from.

Great - I am a bit overloaded right now, but I will look over this shortly to check each link and update the airports in question.

Thanks

A lot of Brazilian airports already have the 2012 data, so it would be pointless to update these and other Brazilian airports with 2010 and 2011 data :P

Thank you for your time though ;)
