New York Laguardia (LGA) political restrictions S1

Posted by alexalex409 on 06 March 2012 - 07:58 PM

Hi!
I recently started an airline in the world S1. I wanted to fly from LGA to SFO, but the game said that i couldn't du to political restrictions. I also can't fly to anywhere in Europe, the West coast of the United States, and to Mexico. Is this a bug or is there a reason for this?

Thanks

And yet again this quote must be copied and pasted...

"...A perimeter rule prohibits nonstop flights to or from points beyond 1,500 statute miles (2,400 km). Exceptions to the perimeter rule are flights on Saturdays and flights to Denver. Transcontinental and international flights use Kennedy International or Newark Liberty...."

http://en.wikipedia....Guardia_Airport

Wait...flights to Denver are an exception from LaGuardia? :woot: How come we haven't added this yet? <_<

As pointed out, there are rules about the flights you can make from that airport.

Jason - I'll look into making Denver an exception.

I tried to start a route in S1 from CAI to LGA . I thought it was a jackpot for me but it has political restrictions , like others say , why?

This was explained just a few posts ago - LGA has a range restriction of 1500 miles.

okay do we need to put this out somewhere, all the range restrictions, open skies, wright whatever?

It would be nice if someone maintained a wiki page for it ;)
