We've spent countless hours lately dealing with the problem of the registration emails not succesfully being received, and we think we've fixed the problem. Pass on the word that registration is once again open, and please report to us any further problems with reception of email.

Would that include hitting the Lost Password and having the password sent to that e-mail, or would my friend have to create a whole new account?

Lost password will work. There is no need to create a new account.

Okay, good. Then my friend should get his password?

No it still isn't working, tried both IE6 and Firefox, neither of them allow a new registration and it's infuriating
