Recently there's been some argument in chat over which is better of the 767 and A330.
Please vote here. Note that this is not a vote for which is better in-game. Your choice should be based on real life factors, like the comfort offered by one of them.

Well I'd need a technical comparison to make a fair, non-baised manner. However on the basis of looks, I like the A330 better

Speed Bird, this post regard the 330 and 767 in real life, not the game...as mentioned in the forum topic :P

As a pilot, I'd much rather go for the 767. The A330 is way to simplified. Everything is compacted into one screen. Plus I hate the sidesticks. The 767/757 flight deck's are a perfect combination of newer and older technology. As a passenger however the A330 is newer.

I just think the A330 looks better than the 767. It's sleek and graceful while the 767 looks... blunt

I tend to lean towards Boeing on most issues, but I'm open minded enough to see the light in an alternative viewpoint. The 330 is a great aircraft. In fact I'd go far as to say the 332 is the best aircraft Airbus has ever produced. Of course, the 330 has a tremendous cargo advantage over the 764 (it's closest comparison), but lets look at the facts...

The Boeing 767-400ER is a complementary aircraft, its target market is to supplement markets with demand for more pax capacity, not more cargo capacity... ergo charter carriers would be more inclined to its efficiency (3-4% over the 330), but the range lets it down and the orders never came. The 764 loses its 4% advantage over the 330 as the operations become more flexible, in other words, on short-haul high capacity routes (like what AA used the A300 for and Delta its 764s) the 764 is more efficient, but the 330 is marginally better on longer routes, and can then go further still. The additional cargo space on the 330 offsets the cost benefit of the 764 on medium routes...

That all being said, I firmly believe the 333 is more of a 772 fighter than a 767, there's no airbus equivalent for the 763 or the 762 so both aircraft are good in their roles. Pitting the 333 against the 772 isn't really a contest... just look at the sales numbers.

I voted for the A330 because It looks better (in my opinion) , has more room in the cabin, is faster and has more powerful engines and is related to the Airbus A340 :D ..... if only it had winglets like the 767.....

Some years ago (3) i was a "Boeing Man", and my uncle taught me to hate Airbus.

Now I think Embraer is the best, and I really have to be thankful to Airline Empires and all members, that let me see all the other aircraft types, learns a lot and see why airbus is a lot better than Boeing :P .

Also, I think A330 is more beautiful and comfortable (I flown in both 67 and A332) :)


Some months ago, I voted 767. Now I changed my vote :)
