A very noob question, but is there any possibility to offer players the chance to play in sandbox style, without ending date?
Seems to be a good idea for me if we can choose between the classic style -world ends etc-,and the endless one.

Then we'd have to make up airplanes for the far future if it never ends. I think the last new airplane in AE comes out it 2015

and why will be a probem if we use the existing planes? My problem is the short time given for building and running an airline not the technological level.

AE doesn't have a very stable economy after ~10 years, too many people fly big routes. Also there is a high chance of the server breaking for no reason after year 20.

I think that there could be a mode where the days go by noramlly, except the date doesn't move - so then we would have no need to invent lots of aircraft...
