Start designing some liveries mate and you'll realise why some of us do actually give a ****. I for one put a substantial amount of effort into making the liveries I make almost perfect. This guy comes along and trys to suggest that's his own work...
I never said that I'm some kind of designer. I created this topic with the only goal to help anyone who wants some livery! I don't want a judgment if I wore a livery as the basis for creating a new one. Like the user AeroGroup has asked me a livery, and I did it for him. Any problem? I respect your work Speed Bird, but I don't want to hear some moralist speech. Who wants a help, I'll help! That's it!

Correct me if I'm wrong but you stated that Bahamas Airways, the airline who's livery is in question, is your airline. You had posted this to show off 'your work' which is fair enough, of course the fact it's plagiarised is certainly not ok. Thus, your latest statement is irrelevent; you say this thraed was to help others, which has also been achieved, yet your aim in this case would have been to prove what you can do; therefore, this is completely morally wrong.
I don't think it's wrong. This is a simulation, with several fanciful airlines. There are so many nice liveries of real airlines in this world, why not use one and modify them? This is a simulation, a game! For example, I think the livery of KLM seems more with a Caribbean ambience, so why not use for a Caribbean airline? I agree that if I said that "I had created a livery of any airline since the beginning", all this would be hypocrisy, but no! I just showed in this topic liveries of fanciful airlines, influenced or not for existing liveries. You are free to think this is wrong, but there are users here who think otherwise.

If you had re created the livery from scratch, even if it was the same as KLM, there would be no fuss... Alas, you have not, and instead have used someone elses work and tried to pass it as your own. And that's not wrong is it?
The goal is the final result, which is different from the original.

The goal is the final result without breaking copyright laws

You didn't bother to argue when you accidentally uploaded the livery with the registration, only after you realised you made the mistake. Sounds odd doesn't it?
I had kept the registration, reversed!, because I thought he had no problem, this is a simulation game. I removed because I started hearing a lot of noise.

So what if he used a KLM plane as a template, I call it being resourceful. Do you guys know for a fact that the original image was copyrighted? He never said explicitly that he had created it from scratch.
I don't see what the huge fuss is about, someone pointed out that he edited a KLM plane and suddenly he's a horrible person!

Great liveries Luiz.

Is it really that big of a deal? He obviously can make awesome liveries.

Its the fact that we spend hours making something from scratch and he comes and spends maybe 5 minutes altering something and claims it as his own...

Your very first post criticizing another member? I find that quite hard to believe, especially since you know what SB is going on about.@ speed bird. Maybe he has better things to do and by finding a corner to cut can have a social life and have fun on here.......CHILL!!
