Onboard this A320.
Pitch is pretty tight.
Wing view.
Pushback was at 1439, then we began a short taxi to runway 32R, where a SilkAir A320 took off just before us, followed by a Tiger Airways A320 after us. All three A320s going to Singapore!
Takeoff by 1450, followed by a 35 minute down south. Bad weather caused some moderate turbulance (yipee!!), and also caused us to enter a holding pattern near Singapore.
Over a seemingly exotic island (Indonesia?)
Smooth landing despite the rain.
We turned off the runway, then taxied to Terminal 1. Aerobrige used here, which adds to the value of flying this LCC. Poor passengers of the Tiger A320 behind us has to use stairs and umbrellas .
End of this segment.

Now for the next segment, a business class ride home.
SIN-KUL
Malaysia Airlines MH608 (later 616)
Boieng B737-400 (9M-MQE)
1 hour
Arriving in Singapore's Changi Airport early (enough) to visit the lounge, little did I know that...
I was sort of panicky that the later flights were full and I had to stay the night or something terrible will happen, but the nice check-in staff rebooked me onto the MH616 service leaving an hour later. Phew! So now I have even more time to go planespotting and relaxing in the lounge.
Some pictures...
A BLUE boarding pass (Economy is typically green here) My passport behind it.
The lounge (Golden Lounge)

Might as well complete this TR seeing how bored i am
On my way to gate E24
Can you spot my flight? It's shown as a codeshare flight.
9M-MQE will fly me back home tonight. I even have a model of her at home!
This SQ A330 is heading to KUL too, scheduled to return with a full load (all those connecting pax)
Boarding was called a few minutes late, and was not at all organised. Economy pax rushed along with the Business pax.
View from 4A. It's nice to sit in front of the plane for once. 9V-SRM next to us off to Mumbai in a moment.
Warm towels being served by this nice steward.
Welcome drink! Choice of juices or alcoholic drinks.
Aerobridge being disconnected. For once I get to watch it live!

Singapore Airlines A330 takeoff to Dhaka I believe
It gets dark as we approach the runway
Lufthansa B747 taking off to Jakarta (See the FIDS pic above)
SilkAir A320 waiting for us to take off. Happened to me at the same time, same place, exactly one year ago.
Sunset over the Malaysian peninsular
DINNER TIME
Before takeoff we were given a choice of cream cheese or tuna sandwiches. The FA overlooked me and didn't ask. Got a mix of both then.
Malaysia Airlines beats Singapore Airlines in this aspect. You only get a cold wrapped sandwich on SQ, but here you get chocs and dessert too
