Hi,

ive been playing for almost a month now and never come across the end of a world, so can someone explain to me what exactly happens when the world time ends, does the world just simply close, end of story? what about all the achievements in that world,is there a way that can be retrieved later on given all the time and effort one puts in building an airline? I would want to keep record of all the achievements and statistics his airline maintained in the world even when it ends.

another question, ive noticed in the order books, aircraft delivery dates extend far beyond the year of which the world ends, explanations?what happens to those aircraft? (ive seen one airline which has A380 deliveries upto 2032 where the world ends in 2015!)

And finally, what are the major contributors or factors in calculating airline valuation? whats the impact of the following in airline valuation:

a. fleet average age
b. owned aircraft vs leased aircraft
c. number and type of aircraft on order

Thanks in Advance to all who provide me with answers

Cheers

The world just ends... however, the current ones are being extended.
all orders after the world ends are a waste of money, as you don't get them
as for your valuation questions

leased aircraft aren't part of your airline so don't contribute directly to the valuation, nor do orders.
The fleet average age is only relevant for owned aircraft, and it decreases as the aircraft get older (as the indervidual valuation drops)

hope it helps :)

Valuation = cash + value of aircraft owned/aircraft orders (that are bought, not leased)

I find that maintaining a huge airline can seem like more of a chore than if you're just starting, so I wouldn't want them to keep going forever.

value of aircraft on order? is this the secret behind ordering planes which are to be delivered far beyond the world end date? as i mentioned earlier, ive seen one airline which has A380 deliveries upto 2032 where the world ends in 2015!

if this is the case, i think its a glitch and AE should look into it..

cheers

True say indeed, but then again as far as ive personally noticed once im handling large aircraft which give you daily profits of hundreds K's, i loose interest in fiddling about with smaller planes which provide around 50k. so when the world ends and im to start in a new one, i might just not be as interested as i was..

just my personal opinion

Its no glitch, if you transfer cash to an aircraft order (only buy not lease), your valuation doesnt decrease.

Also, as for ordering aircraft after game date, should be completely acceptable, just makes sense. (airlines have a lot of money and saving it isnt always the best option :P )

I also take resets as a way to try something new, order new aircraft, open different routes, open different hubs. You cant always do everything at once.
