Hi,
I have 18 city's. 8 of those 18 city's are a HUB.
I am nr 17th. in my world, all the airlines above and under me have like around 30 city's with 1, 2 or 3 HUB's.
So is it bad that I have 8 hub's?

question 2:
I have 59 planes, and an order for 110 (differtent) planes.
30; a300-600R
9: A320
11: 737-400
1: 747-100
10: 747-400
12:767-300ER
9: md-11
11:md-81
10:md-82
7:tu-154

all leased.. is this good? because, when I have money, say aroun 200 million. I immediately go 'shopping'.
so i have a huge 'pending deliveries' list.

1. It's fine. Most airlines don't start with 8 hubs, they'll usually develop around 40 destinations from their beginning city, and then open a second hub. But I think if this approach works for you, go ahead with it.

2. Your aircraft fleet is good, although if you have the money, you could consolidate your fleet, replacing the 734s, Tu154s and MD80s with A320s, the 741 and MD11s with a 744, and the 763 with the A300 (or vice versa)
This way, your fleet would be A320s, 744s and A300/767s. Having less types leads to reduced maintenance cost.

I have a question for you though:
Are you French? Si vous êtes Français, je suis Américain francophone, et si c'est plus facile pour vous de poser vos questions en Français, ça marche pour moi. (voir http://www.airlineem...-speak-english/)

thank you. but that's not my fleet but those are my orders.
i dont understand why I should replace my 737-400, tu-154, md-80s with a320's. Because now I get almost every day a new plane. when I only buy a320, then I have to wait ( i thought) 3 weeks.. so now I can grow really fast.

haha, I am from holland, but my dad is french. I am not very good in french (also not in English haha)
I love KLM (the royal dutch airlines), and (in real) Air France and KLM work together. So thats the reason why I called my airline 'air france'.

Ok.. I see :captain:
You don't have to replace them. However, it would reduce your maintenance cost, and it would give you fleet commonality.
