The general route map was fixed, but not the alliance maps it seems. Anything about this?

Alliance maps are still using Google Maps (Google removed free access to their mapping software a while back) whereas the route maps use OpenStreetMap which still works.

So will the alliance maps be switching to OpenStreetMap soon? I’d guess they are.

I think (hope?) they'll be switched pretty soon, unless there's some technical reason why OSM wouldn't work for them the same as it does for airline route maps. Yuxi has done a few updates recently to fix map issues so we'll just have to wait and see.

Alliance maps should be working now, though large alliances will take some time to load.

 

If it doesn't work, you can go to Settings, make sure the route map style is set to OpenStreetMap, and click Save Settings.
