I leased an aircraft, but when i wanted to get him in action i couldnt select the airplane because it wasn't listed.
Somebody knows what might be the reason?
Thanks,
Léon

What aircraft did you lease, and what route did you want it on?

The aircraft probably did not meet the criteria for the route you were trying to assign it to (ie:Range or runway restrictions)
Nope, wasnt the problem. I have 6 aircrafts and 5 of them didnt meet the required hours, range of runway restrictions. So i want to know, whats wrong with the 6th of them..

Its a boeing and i wanted it to fly between rotterdam and pisa, but i cant. I can let it fly between amsterdam and pisa, but not between rotterdam and pisa. while rotterdam is my home-port
now it flies from amsterdam to lyon, and there where some demand which wasn't forseen in, i get 80.000 from tickets, but i pay 80.000 fuel for 1 flight. How does it come that it is so expensive? I mean i sell all the seats in my plane. When does such a big plane make profits?

Now, are you sure it has enough hours? If you exceed the amount of hours on the plane (140 hr/week) you won't be able to fly any routes.

I see that your Boeing is a 707-320B. The 707 is quite old (1960s-1970s type) which has quite low fuel efficiency. However if you were to use a more modern aircraft, such as an Airbus A320 or Boeing 737NG (600/700/800/900), you would have much less fuel cost and your route could be more profitable.
Also, as I see you have many posts in this forum for help regarding seats/routes/airplanes, etc. I don't want to discourage you from posting here, but if you do need help on a quicker time basis you can enter the chat room (on the tabs bar). The people in the chat room should be able to help you, but otherwise you can continue posting here and members like me can help you.

Thanks for the help. I now know it didn't want to fly because of the short runway, but I know for sure that wasn't displayed in the screen.. also thanks for the chatroom tip, I will make sure to be there some time!
And about that old airplane of mine, I have a lease for 5 years so that's to bad.. it costs a lot, and doesn't pay itself back..
