Another question,

when making the layout for your plane. Does a firstclass seat takes as much room as an economyclass seat? Or is there some kind of ratio. Like for every firstclass seat you can also make 4 economyclass seat.

Thanks!

It's based on area, I think. As far as I'm aware each aircraft has a certain cabin floor space area, for which each seat will take up acertain amount, varying between classes. That's how it think it works; I know through collecting data for aircaft that we required cabin floor space area so this theory makes sense.

To build on Speed Bird's response: When we add a new aircraft to the game, we input the maximum certified number of seats If you have an all Y-class aircraft, the maximum you should be able to carry will be the same as the maximum certified value that we input. The game has an algorithm it uses when you create and configuration and counts F and C seats as a certain number of Y seats. I'm not sure of the exact ratios (you'll have to ask Yuxi) but I do know that a single F seat is equal to more than one Y seat, and likewise for C. If you have a single F or C seat, you will find that you will have a drop of more than one Y seat from your maximum allowable seating. I hope this helps.

If you put less seats does that mean the seats are more spacious?

I think this is the formula:
for every 10 Yseats: 4F and 6C. I found this out because some of my 737-700s are C8Y136 and others are F4C8Y126 (deduction).
