More precisely, here's an example:
Airport A - Airport B
Route Demand: 100 seats
Airline 1: No IFE, $200
Airline 2: 2 star IFE, $200
Airline 3: 5 star IFE, $200

Airline 3 will get more market share because its IFE is better and it offers the same price. You would still probably get more market share if your ticket was $205-210.

So basically, it gives you more passengers on routes. (like Aerokid said)

I should point out that the costs of running IFE far outweigh the benefits of it, meaning either way you'll
make more money without it.
