At the moment,the Borneo Airways fleet are comprising of:
* 3 ATR 72-500 turboprop (Fully owned by Borneo Airways)
* 3 Fokker F-100 jet (All leased)
* 3 Airbus A300B4 (All leased)
* 1 Airbus A330-300 (leased)

On July 12th 2001,Borneo Airways officially receives its first A319-100 aircraft.The aircraft,named 'Royalist' landed safely at Kuching International Airport,home base of the company.The A319s is expected to replace all F-100 jets by 2002.
In other news,2 A300B4s was added to the fleet,thus increasing the number of A300 from 3 to 5.The leased A330-300 is also returned to the lessor as well.
Current fleet of Borneo Airways (as on July 2001) are:
* 5 Airbus A300B4
* 3 ATR 72-500
* 2 Fokker F-100
* 1 Airbus A319-100
Aircraft Retired/Returned to lessor:
* ATR 72-200
* Airbus A300B4
* Airbus A330-300
* Fokker 100
Aircraft to be delivered:
* 2 Airbus A319-100 (1 on September,1 on February 2002)

Borneo Airways is currently planning to purchase the remaining 2 A300B4s,which are still under leasing agreement.The aircraft,ID no 17381,41172 and 43058,leasing agreements had been extended for a year.Currently,2 of the A300B4s are fully owned by the company.
Meanwhile,Borneo Airways is deferring their A319-100 deliveries to November 14,2001 and March 9,2002.This is due to the purchase of the A300B4s,and the management is decided that it is best to put the delivery of the new Airbuses on hold,in order for the company to regains its fund.

Borneo Airways had expanded their fleet,with the acquisition of 2 A310-300s and a single B767-300ER.The B767-300ER,fitted with Aviation PartnersTM winglets,had been deployed for flights to Sydney and London Heathrow,its first European destination.
In other news,Borneo Airways had signed the purchasing rights for their leased A319-100s and a single A310-300.The 3rd A319-100,still under leasing agreement,will be purchased in the couple of years.

The A300B4s are set to be retired,and it will be replaced by A300-600s.Currently,2 A300-600s had been acquired,and the remaining A300B4 will be officially retired in a ceremony,which will be announced later on.
The current fleet are:
5 ATR 72-500
3 Airbus A319-100
3 Airbus A300-600R (2 on lease)
3 Airbus A310-300
2 Airbus A300-600
1 Airbus A300B4
1 Boeing 767-300ER (on lease)

Borneo Airways are now considering to retire their A310-300 fleet,and replacing them with other type,either the A330-300 or the A330-200 model,and the decision is yet to be made.In related news,another A319-100 is expected to joining the fleet,with the plane will be delivered new to the airline on September 1st,2004.

Meanwhile,Borneo Airways announcing the leasing of 4 brand-new Airbus A340-500 aircrafts,as a replacement for the B767-300ER.With the acquisition,Borneo Airways will be operating all-Airbus fleet (with the exception of ATR 72-500 aircraft).The 1st A345 is expected to be delivered on February next year,and the 4th and the last one on May 2005.
