This is my own 787-8 template, took me ages to make, and I am also converting one to a 787-9 i anyone needs it.
Thanks SpeedBird! You're the best
PS: are those Trent 1000s or GEnx engines?

Skylite has an A350 template, also, and Jetabout has a 788 template, FYI

Just had a look at that 788 template, and i've already spotted a load of flaws in it...
- Nose is wrong shape
- Engines seen deformed
- Tail leading edge is wrong shape
- Raked Tips are at the wrong angle and are not concave
- Engine pylon incorrect shape at back
- No wingflex... though that's just my personal preference.
I think I'll continue to use my own version!

Anyone know where to get a good E-Jet (170/175/190/195) template?
I use the templates from Skylite design, have the E-120, the ERJ series and the E-Jets series.

To use:
I only know if this will work in Paint.NET
Save as .PNG open Paint.NET open the image and add a layer beneath. Then just paint on the layer beneath.

The engines aren't correct on your template. While it is marginally better than jetabout's, the width between the cowling and nozzle/exhaust is slightly narrower than it should be (although you have correctly placed it between point 3 and 7 on the engine cowling)
Also, the curvature of the engine on top is too pronounced, it needs to be reduced, and should continue more so to the rear. The engines also need to be raised so that one third sits below the belly of the aircraft, and two thirds sit above.
Finally, the upward curve of the engine pylon forward of the wing, where it attaches to the engine, should be more prominent.
As a side note, your flexing wing extends further aft than it should, the entire bottom of door three should be visible.
....and the elevator is too thin.
Just thought you'd like to know
