Now, my vote goes to the B747.

There is nothing that will match the B747. I have flowned on the B747-200/300/400 and its a great aircraft to fly on and its the one i have flown most on, due to been in Australia.

Man, unlike Airbus, it's a hard decision between the 747 and the 777. I'm going to say the 747 because no other plane will ever catch the lore, comfort, and status of the 747, not even the A380.

Cant say that without flying the A380. Though 747 is legendary, and unique in looks I would say the 777 is better, due to the fact that its has the range and its easier to load. I advantage which the 747 does have is cargo. Airlines love the cargo capacity of the 747, because they make a large amount of money on passeger trips. Thats why companiesloved the DC-10. Unfortunately the MD-11 was smaller and the L-1011 is a gas gusler. Anyways thats my 2 cents.

I'd say 747. I would normally have said 777, but my last American Airlines flights has had me rethink that.

747 no question, Even though I have never flown on one. Btw, what is going on with the ADV, do we have a launch airline yet?

If any launch airline, then it's either CX or JA, but it hasn't been officaly launched yet. ;)

There are too many people on the 747 and the seats are cramped. (It sucks to sit next to someone who has a cold!) 777's are generally newer and have wider seats.

The only B737 i have been on was on a KLM B737-400 in the early 90's, painted in a all white livery with KLM logo on the tail. Never been on a Qantas or Virgin B737!!! :P

I hardly fly within Australia. Dont know why. I have been to Melbourne as a kid, but went by car, which was a nice enjoyable drive down the southern coast heading to Melbourne.
