This is in the wrong forum section. **Moved**
A hub allows you to get connecting passengers to fill empty seats on your flights.
A terminal allows you to have more gates than the airport gates limit (5 gates at non hubs, 15 at a hub).

Also terminal gates can't get taken off you if unused

I currently have 5 hubs, but have never seen a connecting passenger. Is there some secret that I don't know.

If your flight is 100% full with sector passengers you won't see anyone connect.

example:
I fly from LHR-CDG (london heathrow-paris charle de gaulle), frequensy; 7x
(this route as example! in my world i even don't fly on this route, or cities)
both airports are hubs, do i earn more money when my plane is (let say) 70% full, and 30% connecting?
or 100%, 0% connecting?
so my question is, if you fly between hubs, is it better to make the plane 100% full, or for example 70% full with conecting people?

Try to make it 100% full because connection pax pay half price.example:

But don't lower your prices too much just for extra pax, or you'll make less money
First to fly - Airbus A350, B787-9 in AE8
