I have a doubt about the fuel flow. For instance, I have a ATR-42-200 and a ATR-42-300. Both have the same IFE and Cabin layout. According to the statistics ATR-42-300 has a bigger fuel flow than ATR-42-200. However, when I replaced a ATR-42-200 with a ATR-42-300, my profits increased instead of decreasing. How can I know, then, whether an airplane is more fuel efficent than another?

Go to the Aircraft page, click on the Aircraft ID of the aircraft you want to see. There you'll see TFC (specific fuel consumption), that's where you'll know the difference between aircraft fuel consumptions.

Is the 300 older? If so, older ac consume more fuel.

I checked both items you mentioned. Regarding TFC the ATR-42-200's is smaller than the ATR-42-300's (0,08 vs. 0.09). Also, the ATR-42-300 is older than the ATR-42-200 (5 years -the one given when I started the airline- vs 0 years). So, I still don't understand why this happens...

Are the profits simply increasing as there is more demand on the route and you're adding capacity?
