How do you go about deleting a unprofitable route.

Go to the route page, look for that unprofitable route and tick it, then at the bottom, where it says Match Lowest Price, select close and press Go.
First to fly - Airbus A350, B787-9 in AE8

Alternatively, closing all flights leads to the same. If you're at the details page of a route this might be faster.
