Golden Wings Alliance
Banana Airways, Cardinal Airways, Legacy Airlines and Rubber Chicken Transport are glad to announce the opening of the Golden Wings Alliance.
The Golden Wings Alliance came to birth when both Cardinal Airways and Rubber Chicken Transport formed an alliance after having codeshare agreements on each others routes. Legacy Airlines strengthen the alliance further and opened up new destinations for the alliance. The addition of Banana Airways has made the alliance one of the strongest and biggest in the United States.
The founding members of the alliance said at the press conference they will soon release the requirements by which other airlines may join the alliance. A logo of the alliance will also be released soon.
The following is a brief information of the founding members:
Banana Airways: The airline based out of SAN serving 32 destinations from SAN alone. Banana Airways overall has 50 destinations all around the country.
Cardinal Airways:Is the largest airline operating out of Louisville, KY with more than 200 daily flights to 52 destinations and with over 500 daily flights system wide. The airline is also one of the biggest players at Chicago/Midway. The airline has LAX and MDW as focus cities. (No fried or rubber cardinals here.)
Legacy Airlines: The airline is based out of Hong Kong. The airlines flies to several routes in Asia. (more info to come
Rubber Chicken Transport (written by RCT): Rubber Chicken Transport was founded by Colonel Marlon Saunders, alleged estranged cousin of the founder of a Fried Chicken Franchise with initial K C and F (in random order). Marlon was envious of his "cousin's" success, and tried to sabotage his cousin by transporting rubber chickens to the franchise outlets. It failed, and Marlon was driven into exile in Why, Arizona (room 6, Desert View Motel - don't worry if the name changes - it's the only motel in Why)). From this room, he launched the aviation company Rubber Chicken Transport (he kept the name - it was already registered in Hooterville County). With the help of his assistant Mary Harry (who weighed ninety-eight punds, and while there was not much going on above the neck, below the neck it reminded one a couple of cats trying to get out of a burlap bag), they built up a network of small props, filling the niches left by the legacy carriers. Ignoring the traditional spoke and hub network (probably because he and Mary did not understand it) there motto was "if there's a gonna be a landing strip, we gonna be a tryin' to fly there". Hiring only relatives for pilots (14 pilots named "Bubba") they have been able to keep costs down, thus remaining competitive.
Rubber Chicken currently serves as the feeder airline to the alliance members. Long term plans are being developed in Marlon's mind, but often get mixed up with plans for lunch. Mary does not plan (see comment above about above the neck).
Notice: Some flights may serve fried chicken on some routes alliance members offer.

Seeing as we now have seven members I would like to remind you that registration is closed, especially to US based airlines, but if your looking for an alliance post in this forum and like we did with Binter, we would search you out if your easily qualified.

After the reset, ApplAir would like to consider joining. We are based in CUN, with routes to MCO and MIA, and, hopefully, Mexico City.
