I was surprised to see just how cheap tupolev aircraft are. The specs look about the same for airbus and boeing aircraft yet tupolev's are half the price! Can anyone please tell my why I should go for airbus and boeing?

Its all a brand thing i guess like if you had a pair of nike's and a pair of reeboks which were the same in every way which would be more expensive, obviously the nike's

In real life, these aircrafts don't have many service centres around the globe.

tupolev's are cheap in purchase but in maintanance and fuel very expensive sometimes!!!
I had flights where 50% went into fuel and maintanance and swapped it with a boeing and then it was only 25-30% fuel and maintanance cost

Tipolev in general are highly inefficient and high with maintenance. While they do have a big range and are cheaper, they aren't worth it in the long run.

I have a large amount of Il-96's. They have a worse fuel economy, but, they cost almost a 3rd of the a330 and the maintenance costs are half

but either way the cost is going to be added onto your assets so you aren't going to lose value
