please could you extend the runway as i cant get my E145 out

but in real life a 757 (contental) can use it to newark

Continental does fly a 757-200...just noticed it cannot land in the game either.

The sim has a few runway problems like that. Another example of this is Toronto City Airport. You can not land a Q400 there, but Porter Airlines, which only uses Q400 has it's hub there.

My guess is that atm, the system isnt perfect and to do what people would want, i guess it would involve having a new code to allow for changes, such as weight of aircraft, runway length, in which these variables, depending on how it worked out, would allow our airlines to operate bigger aircraft from shorter runways, like some of the above have indicated, but penalise you by carrying less passengers or less fuel, etc..

The code right know asumes a full fuel load at every time, that makes some aircraft/runway scenarios impossible (eg. Bristol and 757-200). The related code must be changed - together with the formula how much fuel is required for a route (this is in progress already) we should also introduce different factors as Maestro said so you can use smaller runways with heavys if they are not fully loaded.
