At the moment that cannot be done. The most obvious reason is to prevent cheating - if you cannot transfer money between airlines, there is much less incentive to start multiple airlines (which is against the rules) for the purpose of combining resources.

Maybe for the reason Yuxi mentioned above haha

Well, it's not against the rules to start multiple airlines anymore, but they still have to be separate (no transferring assets period).
