Air S is a small regional airline based in Melbourne Australia. We currently operate flights in and between Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Norfolk Island (full list see below). We take pride in the fact that while we are a small airline on the global stage, we are the largest airline in terms of daily profit in the Southeast Asia-Australia region. Starting from a small airline offering flight between Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, we have grown to become the largest airline in the region.

Our current fleet is as follows:
2 Bombardier Q400
1 Cessna 404
9 Cessna C208 Caravan Grand
2 BAE Systems J-31

The CEO of Air S today announced the purchase of an An-148-100 today after a board meeting. He also announced that the plan had full board and 96% shareholder support. While he said that the delivery of this arcraft next month will cause short-term debt, he moved to reassure shareholders that the airline can afford this debt due to its high level of credit available. He says the airline has full capacity to eliminate this debt within 10-15 days due to its profit levels. He has also announced that later in the month the airline plans to purchase 4 Cessna C208 Caravan Grand aircraft, to be delivered over the next two months. He cited the versatility, low cost, low price and also the airline's high levels of rpofit from these aircraft as reasons for their purchase. While these plans are certainly ambitious, the CEO said they would allow the airline to exapand its Indonesian and Malaysian operations, possibly to the Phillipines. He also said that with the extended range of the Antonov, flights between Eastern Australia and Southeast Asia are being looked at. The other options for this aircraft is to open services to Perth and Darwin, or expand to more Pacific Island destinations.

The CEO of Air S was pleased to release information about the airline's new aircraft earlier today. He said the airline had decided to use the new An-148-100 they had on order to service routes between Jakarta, Kuala Lumpar, Singapore, Perth and Sydney. He said that these routes would provide the missing link to passengers, and allow them to transfer from various Indonesian and Malaysian regional destinations to Australia and vice versa.

He also announced today the routes serviced by the two C208 Caravan Grands deliverd this month. One will be used to servie Jakarta airport, flying to Singapore, Denpesar Bali and Johor Bahru. It will also fly between Johor Bahru and Padang. The second C208 will be used on routes from Hobart to Sydney and Canberra in the interim, but once the airline recovers from its debt, the CEO said that a hub will be established in Sydney. Once the hub is established, the airline plans to use its second C208 to service trunk domestic routes in Australia.

The CEO of Air S today informed the market of the airline's plans for the month. The airline currently has a debt of around $500,000 as at Semptember 15 Y1. While this was longer than the airline had predicted, the CEO said that the airline's operating profit has fallen by roughly $100,000 since the introduction of the new aircraft due to increased competition on major routes. The airline still has a healthy profit for its size. In an unexpected move, the airline announced plans to purchase additional aircraft before the end of the month, with full board and sharholder approval. They plan to purchase one of four aircraft: a Raytheon Beech 1900D, a Fairchild Dornier 328, a Fairchild USA Metro 23 or a BAE Systems J-31. Analysts predict the airline will choose ever the 1900D or the 328 because of their low hourly costs and range and speed. However, the CEO has refused to speculate on these rumours. It seems the market will have to wait for more information.

Nice reports!

I would choose dornier 328's or Metro's. They work for me the best. Depends on the routes but I have had 328's making 350 - 450 k each. Not bad for a 12 million dollar plane!

If you think that an a333 costs 125M and can pull in about 1.3 million at the moment the 328's are good value for money. If you have 10 of them you can probably earn about 2 to 2 1/2 million :eureka: and you don't even have to be at top tier airports LIN / MXP / STN size is enough.

Just some advice from a seasoned player :sdrool:

Today the CEO of Air S informed the market of various route changes on many of the routes serviced by the airline. Most of these were fairly small and involved changing route frequencies on routes with many of the airline's aircraft flying on them. However, there was one drastic change. One of the airline's Cessna 404 aircraft was removed from Australian domestic routes and switched to routes from Kuala Lumpar and Bangkok. The CEO was very proud of the fact that the airline has now ventured out of the Southeast Asia-Australia region. He was quoted as saying "This is a marvellous day for the airline. Hopefully, with the delivery of morre aircraft next month, services can be expanded in Asia." This change involved purchasing of many gates in south Asia, including Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, causing an initial $500,000 cost, but the CEO believes that this cost will reward shareholders "1000 times over." The complete list of new routes for the 404 is:

Bangkok (BKK)-Phnom Penh (PNH)
Bangkok (BKK)-Phuket (HKT)
Kuala Lumpar (KUL)- Phuket (HKT)
Kuala Lumpar (KUL)- Johor Bahru (JHB)
Kuala Lumpar (KUL)- Padang (PDG)
Phnom Penh (PNH)- Ho Chi Minh City (SGN)

The CEO also informed the market of Bangkok becomming a focus city in the region for Air S.

He said that the delivery of two more Cessna C208 Caravan Grand aircraft to the airline aloowed them to begin these operations. They now service 9 routes between Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Manama and Muscat in the following routes:

Manama (BAH)-Riyadh(RUH)
Doha (DOH)-Muscat (MCT)
Dubai (DXB)-Manama (BAH)
Dubai (DXB)-Muscat (MCT)
Riyadh (RUH)-Doha (DOH)
Doha (DOH)- Manama (BAH)
Dubai (DXB)-Doha (DOH)
Dubai (DXB)-Riyadh (RUH)
Dubai (DXB)- Tehran (THR)

The focus cities in the region for the airline will be Doha and Dubai. The CEO was also very proud to annonuce that the airline already has the second largest daily profit out of any airline in the region. They also have the highest amount earned per number of passangers carried, earning approximately $1400 per passenger carried each day. This is very good for the airline, considering they operate very small aircraft in the region. The CEO announced that the plans to purcahse more aircraft last month were scrapped, although the airline plans to purchase 5-10 aircraft during this month to expand long range services and services in Southeast Asia, Asia and the Middle East.

The CEO of Air S today announced that Air S services in Asia and Middle East will be rebranded within the airline as Asiair S and Middle Eastair S respectively. Also, Air S' interregional services will be rebranded as Interair S. The CEO assured passengers that they will still recieve the same great service they know and love. The rebranded aircraft will still operate as part of the Air S group, but they will have different liveries, different uniforms and local staff. Another major initiative is serving local food on its flights. For example, passangers on Asiair S will be served Thai soups, spring rolls and various Asian dishes. The CEO moved to assure shareholders that the airlines will still be combined legally and on the sharemarket, and that the changes will further increase profit and customer satisfaction.

The CEO of Air S had major announcements for the market today. First of all he announced the routes to be flown by the five new aircraft (2 Cessna C208, 2 BAE Systems J-31 and 1 Raytheon Beech 1900D) delivered this month. They will be used on routes in the Middle East, Egypt, Great Britain, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy. The new focus cities in the various new regions are Manchaster, London Heathrow, Athens, Istanbul and Cairo. The CEO informed the community that the rapid expansion into new regions, particularly Europe, has been as a result of rare gate availability in Rome Fiumincino and London Heathrow. The airline has been looking for European expansion, and the opening of gates was a perfect opportunity for the airline. Three new subsidaries of Air S have also been created: Europeanair S (continetal Europe, Greece and Turkey), SUK ConnectionS (Great Britain) and Fly Egypt S (Egypt). The CEO announced that the airline would be ordering multiple aircraft tobe delivered next month to expand services. The CEO said that new destinations in Northern and Central Africa, Great Britain, Greece and Turkey, and continetal Europe are on the cards for next month.

The rare gate availability is probably due to people building terminals....

You might see more gates available in the coming hours ;-)
