ok here is another thing. i hit the change aircraft button becuase im already retiring my lone Q400 to become an all jet airline...

but it showed me 3 cessna caravans and a beech 1900 that i could use. the aircraft numbers are 298,299, 402 for the cessnas and 302 for the beech. however, i have no such types in my fleet. anyone with these aircraft look and see if they are yours.

Changing aircraft should be working now (just realized it was never finished). Does the problem still occur?

ok it now works, but there is something preventing it from changing the route to a plane that has used some hours.

i use hub and spoke so there is no problem with the way im ordering the changes because of destinations not matching...

but i had a Q400 going to ORD, LGA, PHL from KPIT. now i moved the first one to a CRJ-900ER but when i went to move the others, i couldnt get the crj-900er that i had moved the first to, to appear on the list to move the others to it. the crj that i want to use still has plenty of hours on it though.

Did you check if it has enough hours for that route at that frequency? especially when moving to aircraft with longer turn times

I am noticing a jump in Load factor percentage right away with the same type of a/c. I hope this will fix itself so the swapping a/c feature isn't an advantage again. Is anyone else noticing this?

Changing aircraft effectively does no more than change the number of seats on a route. It shouldn't give any "special" profitability because all the routes are calculated independently of the aircraft change.

I did notice that when changing an a/c it only shows a/c with 160 hours. Going from a q400 to an148. the 148 should be able to run the same amount of flight plus have hours left over provided you do not increase the frequency during change.

Just a comment on this David, as I am not beta testing, have you taken exactly the same aircraft and plane changed? if so, was there a jump in profit? before and after?

i mean it wont show planes that are not at 160hrs. so if i have 2 flights on a q400 that use the 160 hrs, once i transfer the first flight, i cant transfer the second to the crj because it wont come up on the list.

Can you post the aircraft IDs involved? I can't reproduce the problem with mine - I can see aircraft with less than 160 hours and it seems to work fine.

its all of my aircraft...

i moved a crj-900ER flight that was operated by id 697 to a E-195(1611) which had not been operated at all. i then went into the same route, to change it back to the crj, and 697 was not on the list, it will only show aircraft with 160 hrs.

I made it so it recalculates all your aircraft's hours when you load the change aircraft page. Let me know if it works now.

Same problem here. When changing an aircraft, only a/cs with 160 hours are displayed, regardless of type.
