Well being a lazy student i don't have a huge amount of money, but I have been coming and going from the game since 2005, so I would chip in whatever I could to help the game be improved

Before any funds are asked, we should all wait for Developers comments to see if there is a way of reducing server load before going out and seeking new equipment.

It was not all that long ago that Miller purchased more HDD and Memory for TW's workings, one still thinks that if the main server was cleaned up with all the past Beta testings and an image placed on its own partition, it could be managable.

There are a few current business owner players, that may be interested in FREE advertising PR for a slice of the funds needed to produce a or parts required for the server, thats the avenue I would consider.

I have asked developers to PM me if they need any things that they cant handle.

On your post (a) sure your thought is there just like a lot of others, but let's wait to see what develops 1st.

Just a small update: Have two server that can host the mysql-database, tested one in the morning, testing now the over for performance in cooperation with the main server.

I will also check if we can cache some query results within game servers memory somehow to get more performance.

Game reopened - but time is stopped until Saturday.

Please, login and do whatever you want to do. I just moved the database to another server without any further work right now. Expect it will be slower as if its running on a single server. But I hope it will be faster than the server acted the last week - so login, change routes, open them, close some routes. We will track the speed.

Hopefully no one will got the message MySQL server has gone away and all players will be able to login at every time.

But I tried to make a route and got:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/airlinee/public_html/sim2/func_new_lf.php on line 18

Not sure what other players are getting but Auto-pricing is not on, well it is but on any route it comes up with $20 tickets.

Yeah i am having the same problem, i stil can't create a route in under 15min

The issue is the 60,000 established routes, too many for this game, remember in past rounds we was flying well till we hit 30,000 routes then it cloged down.

Developers would be well advised to consider a reset, but this time restricting the mass explosion as in less than 2-weeks we will see another reset.

Limit the extra aircraft they release, and on the new aircraft order book make it a genuine 2 per manufacture and drop the silly $50M and larger aircraft back to Millers original of $5M and either a J31 or B1900.

OK, have fun you lot, (If you can make routes) I will be back on the weekend when one hopes there is some kind of improvement, I have business meetings in Wales for the rest of the week.

But, no problems here at all. Setup loads of planes on really busy routes. Updates are quite quick

Done now some lf-script-performance things. Were there some calculations of many competitors data not required.

No more Msql errors but its back to $0 returns when you set up a route, thoe it shows you have a nice DOP before setting it....

we should keep it the way it is now. we get 10 mil and a Q400 or an A/C similar. I Started better this round, And i have lots of good routes ready for when i make 60 million, becuase when i do ill defo be on 1 mil a day, with the routes i have planed for with 5 Q400's

DIdin't get all my a/c delivered. It was right at the end of the pause. If you get the game to speed up don't worry about it. Just happy to play.
