There really needs to be an easier way to view my Gates and Aircraft without thumbing through each individual page 15 at a time. Once an airline gets to a certain size, this format makes it really cu_mbersome to find information. There are many times I really want to know how many total gates and open slots I have at XYZ airport but the only way I know to see this is by going through the multiple gates pages to find it. While trying to make a new flight it only shows the number of open slots, not total gates held.

My actual preference would be to have it all on one list like the routes page, that makes it easy to sort and analyze in real time in the game. If there is opposition to that for some reason then could it be made it so all of the gate and aircraft data can be downloaded in some sort of format so I can look at in Excel? The data is already in formatted for a spreadsheet now its just that to put it into excel I have to copy and paste 1 page at a time then I have to update Excel each time I make a change to keep it accurate.

Having it in the same format as the routes would be ideal or at least having the option to switch to that format if an airline wants to.

BTW, the text censor built into the forum is a little over zealous. Way too many common words get ***'ed out because they contain a string of certain letters.

Hi,

export to excel - in general no problem. Is it ok then the file will be supported by Excel 2003 and later only? Or is it required to support Excel 2000 also?

Bye,

Tobias

Tobias,

Excel 2003 or later is fine for me. I can't speak for other players but I don't know how common Excel 2000 still is these days.

Thanks

I don't know too - Excel 2003 and newer is easier, they understand html code in table format as tables, so the implementation for this will be done within 10 minutes :)

I think the first approach will be Excel2003/2007 only - if anyone needs another format, just let me know.

A related suggestion - would it be possible to add an indicator for each route (on the route list and individual route info page) to show if it's roundtrip/oneway?

Hi,

done :)

On the route list page you will see now for example:

ZRH - GVA or ZRH - GVA - ZRH

The second version means: Thats a round trip back to the origin.

The same you'll see for your own route on the routes detail page, for competitors you will see a new column "roundtrip".

Tobias

Tobias, I just saw this thread and it reminded me... the new export to excel option only showed up on the Routes page when it was updated. Did you also add this to the Aircraft and Gates pages? If not could you please add the option there as well?

Thanks

Set it on my ToDo-List right now :) But should not be too difficult to integrate - so stay tuned.

I agree with you about their god being cruel and sadistic. This religion was all about control in the 'good ole days'. It still can be to an extent, especially from those people that believe the entire bible to be literal. Hopefully one day it will change.

Couldn't you just use Ctrl + F and type in the airport?

Adding to the request for viewing gates & aircraft easier...

My request specifically addresses gates when looking a region for leasing new gates.

Can we enable "sort by headers" on the page that list gates for rent. i.e. Have an ability to click the headers; country, runway length, gates owned, slots, gates remaining, cost per mo and be able to sort in ascending & descending order.

I think this can be done pretty easily since it already available when viewing gates you already own or have leased.
