I think that when the time comes you should beable to choose how much over 50% of the total cost of a new aircraft you want to pay when ordering. Like paying for the aircrfat in full, or paying 75% at ordering, and only 25% whne delivered, ect. I think this would help reduce the burdon of debt when a new aircraft has been delivered. I'm sure that this feature would be used, by me and most likely others.


I hope this hasnt bee suggested before. If it has I'm sorry and please delete this ASAP!

But airlines don't pay all upfront, if that was true, then Everyone in chapter 11 wouldn't be:o

Also, the only airline that I can think of that pays all upfront is WN

What I was trying to say was the fact that you had to be in sound financial shape to buy the whole plane at once, like WN:o

Nice idea. Would be a nice feature to have becuase if u had the money, u could pay more now and have a lessor burden when the plane is delivered!!!

That's an idea I never thought of. Sounds like a good idea. I usually have the money on hand before getting the plane.

But I usually don't, I get the money for the plane, save the gates, and get the plane:). But I also pay it off quickly, so no problem:).
