I guess Juan really did kind of kill this game, Miller doesn't wanna take care of it any more.

Well, though he put the last nail in the coffin for the most part, he wasn't really the sole cause. Almost all the people were already growing very tired of the game long before. Most between May and July. The problem is that the game becomes very unplayable after year 5 for most players.

Pretty much what summed up to kill the game in my opinion:
-Juan Trippe, he wasn't the sole cause, but very much the last nail in the coffin. Him putting the good gates into -millions really destroyed the game, making it impossible for any airline to enter a market.

-The limited amount of markets, this really makes the game not playable past a very short time. This one is the one that really killed things, as it was the factor that started the domino effect of my first and last point in what killed the game collectivly.

-The agressivness of some players and the inability to keep them uncontained. I don't mind how some players play, but sometimes it does go too far and can destroy the game. People get very fed up with this and just leave. Next to aircraft choice and amount of markets, some anti-compeitive measures are helpful. I'm not suggesting make it so that its very restictive, but some restrictions are needed to make sure that some airlines don't grow too big. The reactivation of the "Deactivate airline after X amount of days" script might also be a massive help.

I've been gone for quite some time now and have been playing another sim, I see the problems here are the same. I did however notice the new 1946 round, and im going to give it a try and see how things are.
