Yep reset usually is around YR 10-12

A little over a month actually (assuming it's ended when it's supposed to at the end of year 10)

Would be nice for me as a new player after i figured out how to play the game and like to have the game reset now, because im flying 5 beachcraft airplane's and its so hard to find gates left for sale and short routes to fly, the gates stil for sale are to expensive to be profitable with the small planes i have. So being placed at 420 im happy with for now.

Tell me about it! Im very fortunate to have quite good gates in the UK, so I am earning a nice little DOP. But a pity my overall after costs profit doesnt reflect it lol.

I also have got the hang of the game and would like a definite date but I can't complain because it is free.

One question, when the game is reset you still get to keep your username?

Yep, your airline name stays the same, you just start with the 2 Beech 1900/ J31, and $5,000,000 again.

I hope that we get some more airports in sim1 before the next reset! Remember people - a J31 is built for Portsmouth to New London/Groton, not New York to Boston!

How long does the game usually go down for before being restarted?

A couple days usually while everything is being prepared (although the time has been much shorter and longer).
