Scripting wise:
$checkGates = mysql_fetch_array (mysql_query ("SELECT `number` FROM `gates` WHERE `airport_code`='$code'"), MYSQL_NUM);
if (($checkGates - $quant) < 0) {
# Do something about it...
echo 'Problem';
} else {
# Go ahead and allow the rental
}
Great. Now fix the problem with using multiple windows.

I believe that would, that is if the check is after confirm purchase button is pushed.

Yep, just have it as the last step in the script. Its very unlikely that you can get below 0 then.

Looks like that Europe is coming back into shape now, many numbers are back up to zero or in the positives. Still many in the -1000s though as well.

I know it should. I just don't think the same checks are in place in other areas of AE. If nothing else, you could almost exactly copy the pertinent parts of the aircraft purchase script over to the gate rental side. I don;t know if that would stop it though. Look at route creation. Even with the hours check in place, people are able to abuse that and can operate up to 44 hours (or more) with one aircraft.
One thing I saw that really irked me was one of the airlines that had 1000's of gates had usage at 100% in both cities and no aircraft. Something seriously wrong with that picture.

I think its just a case of the origional checks are there, its when you get to the confirm pages that those aren't present and where the abuse of HTML can be done.

Yeah the right code is in there, it's just in the wrong place (otherwise people wouldn't be able to exploit things the way they do).

Looks like JuanTripping is back, or we have a wanna-be "H4X0Rz", he re-trashed Europe. Airports that had gotten out of the high negatives are back in the high negatives.

The whole game is destroyed if you ask me.
Anyway I quit, cancelled all my orders and mothballed the frames. I'll be back when Miller does something about all this cheating and hacking.
Good luck to ya all!

I'll speak for him.
"No, I want my mom! I want Juan Tirippe in jail; virtual jail. BTW what he did sucks major. Why bother? He's just going to do it again!"
That's what he would probably say.

In almost every world, I use the airline "Alto Airlines" unless I don't feel like it
