The manager of FlyWorld Airlines Olly Rogers has today made a shock statement, shunning the Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft, saying that they have no place in the FlyWorld Airlines fleet. In the report, it says that the Q400's have neither the range nor the capacity for their (FlyWorld Airlines's) route structure. FlyWorld Airlines have meanwhile confirmed this, and they say they are looking at alternatives for these routes, such as the Embraer E-Series, the BAe 146, and even the Boeing 717-200. They are also planning to purchase an undisclosed number of 737 and 767 aircraft from Boeing, which has silenced people saying that the airline will swoop for 747 aircraft. FlyWorld Airlines has stated there is no intention of buying 747's at the moment, as they wish to expand into Canada, South America and Europe before entering the lucrative Asian market.

FlyWorld Airlines announces GoMED!
FlyWorld Airlines has announced a fully owned subsidary, GoMED, to operate routes out of London Stansted, Birmingham and Newcastle to European destinations and the Mediterranean utilizing a fleet of Embraer EMB195's. The new subsidary will enable the aircraft to compete with some of the leading European airlines in sim2. If this venture is successful, then it will open up new opportunities for the airline, says manager Olly Rogers. The airline have stated that if this is a success then they will start a new service similar to this in America. They have already registered a trademark for the name 'Ping!'.
