Actually it's open office, I have a copy of MS Office 2007 Student on my hard drive that the school distributes (which I get for free through the agreement they have with MS) but I've yet to install it.

From my past experiences I find that times of little changes are often followed by a crazy period where everyone swaps positions (usually within a day or so).
