Come to think of it, Methinks the easiest way i could become a pilot would be to start my own "Airline" of the "We have a cessna you can charter" Variety.

Air Taxi shouldn't be taken lightly. It's a huge industry in Canada and Alaska and can be a stepping stone as airlines cut back on flight crew recruitment. Jim Tweto started his own Air Taxi a few years back with one Cessna 180 - he's now a multimillionaire.

Besides if everything goes pear shaped for you, and the bailiffs do chase after you - at least you would have racked up enough PIC hours to qualify for a reputable airline XD

In Ontario there are quite a few places to start. Too bad that Downsview (CYZD) is only a testing facility for Bombardier, it'd be a great relief for YYZ traffic.

Antalya, Turkey as my base.
Fleet:
4x Dash8 q400 for regional traffic
6x A321-200 where as 2 would be for charter and 4 would be for scheduled traffic.
4x 757-300 All for charter
4x 767-400ER for scheduled long range traffic.
